Privacy

Short version: your invoice never leaves your device, and there is nothing here to log you into.

What we collect

Nothing. There is no account system, no sign-up form, no analytics script and no tracking pixel. We do not have a server that receives what you type, so there is no copy of your invoice on our side to lose, sell or hand over.

What your browser stores

The generator and the calculators save what you have typed to your browser's local storage so the page is still filled in when you come back. That data stays on your device, is readable only by this site in this browser, and is never transmitted. Clearing your browser's site data removes it, and so does the "Start a new invoice" button.

Where the PDF is made

In the tab you are looking at. The PDF is assembled by JavaScript running on your machine and saved straight to your downloads folder. It is not generated on a server, so it is never transmitted anywhere.

Requests that leave your browser

Loading a page makes no third-party requests at all. The two fonts are served from this domain rather than from Google Fonts, so nobody else sees your IP address when a page loads.

The one exception: AI draft

The generator has an optional "Describe the work" box. If you type into it and press the button, that sentence — and nothing else — is sent to our server, which passes it to Anthropic's Claude API to turn into line items. It is the only feature on the site that makes a network request with anything you typed.

What is not sent: your business name and address, your client, your invoice number, your dates, your existing line items, your totals and your notes. The amounts on the returned items are added up on your device as always.

If you never open that box, nothing about your invoice is ever transmitted. Anthropic does not train models on API inputs; their retention terms apply to the sentence you send. Every other field in the generator stays local whether you use the feature or not.

Advertising

This site is paid for by display advertising. Where ad slots are filled, the ad network involved sets its own terms and may use cookies; that relationship is between you and the network, and it never has access to what you typed into the generator.
